    Better than uReach.com?

I'm looking into a toll-free number forwarding service, and from my searching on WHT, it seems like uReach.com offers the best rates and most feature-filled service. Are there any former uReach members out there who have found a better service? Anyone else know of anything better?

    Thanks!

Where using Kall 8 (http://www.kall8.com). They do not have all of the same features of ureach but they do allow you to have your own custom number.

Hmm... I like the fact that Kall 8 offers 800 numbers (as opposed to 877, etc)... how long does it take to set up an account with them?

We purchased 1.877.XEROCITY from them and it was active in one business day.

They stated it would be 1-2 business days.

    So far it works good.

Try AT&T. They have an online number checker that includes 8**.

    http://businessesales.att.com/produc...gdisplay.jhtml

In order to get the 7.5 cents a minute (6.5 with online billing), you need to use AT&T Long Distance. In order to get the 1/2 penny cheaper rate, you need to use AT&T Business Local Telephone service as well.

The 6.5 cents isn't bad and the Toll Free service forwards to any number you want. Setting up an account takes a few minutes over the phone and the actual activation is quick (I think our first one was ready the same day).

kall 8 was 6.9 cents per min with no need to switch any of your carriers and it was all done online. They do charge a $10.00 setup fee and $10.00 a month (for custom numbers) in addition to the 6.9 per min.

I have used U-Reach for several months and have been very satisfied. The interface is excellent and it's very easy to check my calls via the web. I guess the major drawback that I've noticed is the 877 number. You wouldn't think it, but a suprisingly large number of people don't think that 877 #'s are toll-free.

You might also want to evaluate whether or not a toll-free number is actually worth it. I think that just using my local phone number would have been a better choice for me. It eliminates superfluous calls but people who really need legitimate phone support will call anyways.

We use http://www.myown888.com for about a year now. Great service, no problems so far.

No setup fees, no monthly fees, $0.06/min - for us it is about $0.05/min.

So far I'm leaning towards Kall 8 since they offer custom numbers. (Although, I haven't heard back from them yet about the number I want. If they don't have it and I wind up getting a random number, I may just go with whichever company has the best support).

    Thanks for the help everyone

Kall8 is great, we had an account opened instantly with them. The features that they offer is great and the price is next to nothing. Jay, for that custom number, they have a page to check that for you. https://fusion.kallback.com/kall8/sms/sms_start.cfm I think is the url.

We use Kall8 and they have been great. In fact, I'm a reseller of their services through Cognigen. I have several business clients that are using Kall8, and I've heard nothing but good things. There are several features that I personally like (don't know if the others offer this), but you can track exactly where your calls are coming from. This helps us in our advertising efforts to see what ads are working for us. We advertise in Annapolis, MD, and I can see exactly who called from there, etc. We can also route the calls to any phone number we want intantantly...great for when your heading out of town of out of the office.

With Kall8, what kind of voice mail do they offer ? Have looked at their site but see limited information about voice mail.

Can you have a personal greeting and then ask client to leave message?

A quick note for those of you who aren't aware, uReach is MUCH more flexible than it initially appears. Just email them. I currently have two toll free numbers on the same account, one of them is my custom 866 # and the other is the 877 # they gave to me. If you just contact them they can tailor the system a bit to fit your needs. Need an 800#? Just ask them and they'll help you out Already have a number? They'll get the paperwork going to "port" the number to their service.

I cancelled up my Kall8 account at the same day I signed up. I am happy with www.angel.com, one of the posters encourage me to go with angel.com, at the "a 1800 number" post, I signed up with their trial, everything seems cool to me. Customer response speed is not that bad.

I am willing to pay a little bit more since I am getting good services from them.

I have to say thanks for the info on angel.com. I am toying around with them and have to say I like their service much more than uReach so far If only they added music on hold I think they'd be 100% what I want.
