Mysql, email accounts and quota

Hello,
I'm wondering if the number of Mysql databases or email accounts on one account has any issue on the quota (hard disk) that I offer to my customers. I'm suggesting More databases will take more space but I need clarification.

I'd assume that most control panel setups would associate the size of the mysql database to the users account (domain) that created it.

It depends. Firstly, if you are using a control panel check the documentation on that product. Plesk, for instance, will allow you to calculate disk usage of email and databases on a nightly basis so it is not a hard limit but a soft quota.

If you want a hard limit, then the files must be owned by the user. In most cases this will not be the fact so you will not achieve a hard limit.
