I Recommend HostingFroggy

Hello, there! Rebecca Ripple here!

I'm posting here to let folks know what a pleasant experience I've had from being a HostingFroggy customer. I have been since November 2006, and there's been nothing but smooth sailing, and plenty of it!

When I came here last November to look for a host with less (or no) downtime, and better pricing if possible, I was told about HostingFroggy almost immediately following my post. The support staff was both professional and friendly, which gets harder to find in a hosting company every year, it seems. Anyway, I soon ordered their OneFroggy hosting plan, which costs only $3.95/mo. and gives you a lot for that low price. They even offer custom plans!

http://www.hostingfroggy.com/

If you're wondering how they could offer all that in the OneFroggy plan for $3.95/mo., and are concerned that they are "overselling", let me assure you, most sincerely, that they are not.

Although I have not needed much support during these months I've been with them on the net, which is a good thing in itself, I know that the staff is very kind in its supporting, and that they are knowledgeable and eager to please. This makes for a wonderful host-client relationship, and a very happy customer!

And no downtime; I got what I asked for in the first place!

I want to assure all you skeptics out there that I don't want/expect any payback in return for this heartfelt review. What I'm saying is, it's all from the heart, every word!

My sites, all hosted by HostingFroggy:

(They're Harry Potter fansites, in case anyone reading this is a fellow fan!)

Talking A Note

I'm sorry to double-post, but I forgot to mention that HostingFroggy and HostFrog are two different companies. I have no experience with the latter of the two, so I couldn't tell you about them, I'm sorry for the confusion.

I was about to post this! Mouse is really fast with 4 legs. While I am glad that Rebecca enjoyed her stay at hostingfroggy.com, I feel that soliciting for clients in such a manner is more of spamming and should be strongly discouraged.

Really? But they're a really good host, and I did actually ask for something like that.

What a sh*tty name for a host, though. Doesn't exude much professionalism.

Theyre a small company but so far there great. Names don't matter.

Tell that to any company who has ever paid millions for branding rights, including domain names.

But lets stay real, of course I wouldn't let the name of a host make or break my decision to use their services, but common, some of the branding that's been lately advertised is a little bit dank. _____host/hosting.com and host/hosting_____.com, while I'm sure most companies behind the frontpage are legit, has just gotten to the point of being almost cliche, it seems.

I really don't see any problems with a name like hostfroggy.

Name doesn't really matter, it is the services that propelled the company forward. From the beginning, I also don't like the name Yahoo! But it seemed to have done very well

Is this the IM message you got from them? We call that spamming and they should be banned from WHT.

Let me assure you, just like 99.9% of hosts out there are, they are overselling. How could you possibly know that they're not?
