P4 2.93 Ghz HT or DUAL CORE P4 2.8 Ghz?


what would be better? i need a dedicated server for my forum ( 350-450 online all the time ) and im narrowed down to 2 options

P4 2.93 Ghz HT 1 gig ram

or

DUAL CORE P4 2.8 Ghz 1 gig ram

the dual core would be 5 dollars more monthly

I would bet on the Dual Core one...but I might be wrong.

The Dual Core P4 2.8Ghz is certain faster than the P4 2.93Ghz, and it's worth to spend $5 more dollars for it !

Go Dual Core. Hyperthreading is nothing compared to a real second CPU core, plus I believe the CPU cache would be bigger on the PentiumD which would also help considerably.
