woodcrest vs. clovertown: how much performance boost?

Is it worth upgrading from a single processor/dual core woodcrest to a single processor/quad core clovertown for $20 a month extra? Is the increase in performance significant, specifically in regards to mysql related websites such as vbulletin.

The specifics are:

(Woodcrest) Intel Xeon 5130, 2 x 2.00GHz 1333MHz
(Clovertown) Intel Xeon 5310 4 x 1.60GHz 1066MHz

I just cant belive no one has ever answered to your question - probably slipped out. But it ranked 7-8 on google search for "woodcrest or clovertown"

Anyway, I feel it would give a major boost! Also make sure you upgrade your RAM too. Should help a lot.

I think it's worth $20 extra. Xeon 5130 has 4.0GHz and 4MB cache while Xeon 5310 has 6.4GHz and 8MB cache.
