It is the IPMI which allows you to see the server's console. If you go through a reseller ask them if they will give you IPMI access as well.

All of the servers come with IPMI (make sure you ask for a server that has it installed because supplies on IPMI cards runs short there sometimes) but not all servers come with KVM/IP.

What is the difference between IPMI and KVM?

KVM I understand because I have used them locally, it hooks you to the physical monitor, keyboard and mouse output.

How does IPMI differ?
