although checking a TOS wouldnt have helped in this case......as they just change it as required.......

Ouch. I hope he didnt ahve to pay that. I think you should be told of changes like that. Plus it should work like cellphones work. When i signed up for my plan as long as i dont cancel i keep the same type of minutes forever. This should stay ture with hosting companies. But guess not. Ouch that sucks for this dude.

That was entertaining reading! I can't believe there are hosts out there that still provide unlimited data transfer and/or disk space. The worse thing is, is that customers seem to still be falling for these types of hosts!
I guess customers sometimes need to be burned once to realize the truth about these hosts.
