Dont you have unsubcribtion link so that if any users dont want to get your offers can cut them down? SPAmming in clear terms is not known to many people and those how know use it to max with any boundries.

We did not sign up to any of hostechs services. So why did we receive the emails?

A unsubscription link would be silly considering we never signed up for anything

Regardless of what you're sending, it's still unsolicited email since no one asked for you to send it in the first place.

From the book of WHT rules:

"If you SPAM our members in any manner, your account will be disabled. Do not contact anyone to suggest your product or service who is not explicitly expecting you to contact them. If you gleaned information from anywhere other than the advertising forums and use that to contact someone and present an offer, it's SPAM."

Spamming is when you send commercial email to someone who hasn't asked for it. We didn't ask for it. You're spamming. Stop it.

Spamming is also contacting people without their consent. Unsolicited.

Why should WE go out of our way to make sure you don't spam us again???? Obviously, you're using a dirty list in which to send out your unwanted commercial solicitations. STOP IT.

If you're not using WHT to get your contacts, what ARE you using?!? Its sure one heck of coincidence that we're all here complaining about your dirty list.

In other words, immediately discontinue using your dirty list and build a clean one from scratch. Spam me again and I'll report it to every list known to man.

    "Hello ,

    Shoud be as follows :

    "Hello ,

    You harvested addresses from WHT
    Then you spammed

    It's cut and dry

I hope your business succeeds however you'll need to change your advertising tactics fast. You could be a great bunch of guys & gals, but if you're spamming you'll aggravate a lot of people which will result in things like what you're facing now in this thread.

Good luck & don't spam again. Spam = bad.

Yes Sir we will surely think on your suggestion and try to reduce this sort of advertising.Although this is the first complaint launched by the propective clients about us on WHT and we will make sure that this thing does not happen again.

Am I the only one who finds this unbelieveable?

This isn't advertising it's SPAM. I have a sent a abuse email too with the headers from your emails.

Take our emails (and others who you have harvested off WHT) off your list now. I am not interested in your services and never will be now. Strange you don't seem to be able to apologise.

You are spamming, ONE EMAIL IS SPAM IF IT IS UNSOLICITED. Not only that you sent the same message to 3 addresses of ours including our abuse address which automatically opens tickets and pages technicians. That means 5+ people then got SMS messages to their phones so yea you are spamming people.

Not only is it an unethical way to get business, but it is against SPAM laws and against WHM rules.

Sounds like they are a repeat offender of WHT Rules.
