How can my clients edit their own websites ?

If I make my client a simple custom template-- what is the easiest way for them to edit it ?
I need a no-brainer, no html-- for dummies editing kind of thing.
There has to be something out there.

Suggestions ?

Adobe Contribute might be just the tool you're looking for

Content Seed might be one CMS to consider. Pretty easy to use and Chris will help you out with anything you might need

I would also go for Adobe Contribute.

In most cases, when the question is how to create a newbie-to-any-kind-of-programming template, my clients are content with it.

As refers to the other options quoted, I don't have any first-hand experience with them.
