I have 2 IPs bounded on a Windows 2003 server. These 2 IPs have different network routes (one uses network A, one uses network B). Obviously for outbound traffic I can freely choose which IP to use (I simply choose to use http://ip1 or http://ip2), however I wonder if it's possible to tell the server which IP it should use for inbound traffic when I need to download something from the internet to the server?

The server doesn't choose which IP it uses for inbound traffic. Whichever IP it initiates the request from to download the content is the IP that the traffic will go through.

Also, if you serve content, you can make sure that all daemons only bind to the one IP address. Then the other will essentially never be used. Hope this helps.
