Sounds like a Rackshack server been re-sold

Yes it is at RS. Whats the problem with that?....We will provide you with full support for this server so that you dont have to deal with RS at all. The point of this sale is that we can fill it with shared hosting/reseller accounts or let someone save a setup fee at RS and have a server.

If we dont get any takers then we will simply use it ourselves. It is a compaq tier1 server from their last offer.

Reselling from rackshack it isn't a problem at all.

But as you are aware, rackshack does not allow server to be transferred from one client to another. Which brings the question: How do you intend to provide tech support?

How quickly will you be able to relay, say, a reboot request, from a client to rackshack? Etc.

We do this already with a few servers and we have servers at other datacenters which we lease to clients.

Taking this server from us makes you a customer of JMR not RS so we are not reselling the server. We pay for it and you pay us.

Tech support is provided 24/7 by email, icq, aim and human click.

If you have worked with Rs before then reboot requests are dealt with very quickly (within 10mins we have found) if you go through the correct channels. As with other companies such as saburovo.com who provide rs servers support is easy when you have the staff and monitor the servers.
