Having trouble with PHP

So I finally decided to upgrade apache from 1.3 to 2.2 and thought I'd upgrade php while I'm doing it. Everything isntalls ok and the php installer says it has configured apache etc but I just can't get it to parse php. It just loads a blank page!

I've tried adding handlers, types everything etc

Any ideas?

The php 5.2.1 (latest)

Check your httpd.conf and see if the following lines are there:

LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

umm

In your php.ini make sure you have short tags enabled if you are just using <? ?> otherwise you need to use <?php ?> without that option enabled.

Turns out that it was coming up with an error saying cannot load extension php_mysql.dll (which needs to be enabled in the php.ini) and libmysql.dll needs to be in the C:\windows folder

Also make sure you're not using Worker.mpm with apache 2.x.x... php is not thread safe.
