Precision Effect ... "PrecisionPro"

Lately I've been looking at the PrecisionPro plans and considering them for some aspects of my company's site. You know, the support system, main site, billing system, etc.

But here's another question: with the extra space and transfer, think it would be wise to use it for possibly backup purposes for smaller accounts? I was just trying to think of more uses for this service.

What do you all think?

I personally wouldn't store the backups in any web-accessible directory even if it were protected by Apache rules. I wouldn't also like another web host having that kind of leverage over something so key to me.

My advice would be to either purchase some cheap backup space from bqbackup.com for seperate use for this or to store it about/outside the public_html directory.

I agree, though I don't think that was SpeedEXEC's intention.

For the backups I would have stored them before the public_html directory, in the root directly. But the main question was ... what to use the other space on there for?

The only thing I can think if would be: Support System, Billing System, Demos.. Anything else?

The plan would surely be suitable for your main website and any other files you have. As far as backups go, I suppose they would work for you as well. You can host anything you'd like as long as it abides by our Terms and Conditions.

Regarding the uses for this service, it's mainly for high-priority websites, businesses, and larger websites. The servers host significantly less customers than a regular shared hosting platform would, which results in a drastic increase in performance. You can check out all the goodies here.
