compared to raq4 they do have impressive hardware, but they'll have troubles as all Sun Cobalt products with support, as you may choose not to mess with files and keep your warranty ( so anyone with a simple exploit toll can break in) or you keep your raq uptodate and loos it, it's up to you

The 550 is a nice upgrade from the Raq 3 or Raq 4. The Control Panel is Superior to the Raq 4 Panel.

These boxes don't have a 2.xx Ghz Processor, but greater then 90% of the web servers on the Internet use less then 10% of their CPU anyway. So not having the absolute Fastest CPU available on the market is really not a problem for the Cobalt.

We plan to add the 550 servers to our mix as soon as our supplier has them in stock.
