Part time: 4 Days per week; 11PM until 7AM
Full time: 4 Days per week; 11PM until 7AM
Full Time 4 Days a week Level2 Tech 48 hours a week.

Position Details:
Vortech, Inc. is currently offering 3 Technical positions with our Web Hosting operation based in Orlando, Florida. Techs are responsible for providing technical support to all types of customers: shared hosting, reseller, dedicated servers and co-location. We also utilize a LiveChat system for support along with our ticket and phone system. All positions are in-house, not remote.

Position Requirements:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Must be proficient and fluent in the English language, both written and spoken. If you cannot communicate well (both written and orally), please don't bother applying!
Good knowledge of the web hosting industry
At least two years experience with Linux/FreeBSD
Extensive knowledge of the H-Sphere Control Panel and CPanel/WHM
Extensive experience with the following server software: Apache, Exim, ProFTPD, BIND, OpenSSH, MySQL, IIS, ODBC, mysql and mssql
The following skills are not required, but would be helpful:
Experience with Extreme Networks and Cisco networking equipment
Advanced or expert level Perl or PHP programming skills
Network and server security experience (firewalls, access lists, snort, etc.)
General Information:
The position requires 48 hours per week.
Applicants need not possess all of the skills listed above to apply. Good interpersonal and communication abilities are an excellent qualification along with technical knowledge. We are not looking to train someone in Cpanel/WHM/Linux/Hsphere -- applicants should already be very comfortable working in these environments and will only be given necessary information in regards to Vortech’s specific procedures. Previous employer references are preferred.
