I've setup an spf record for one of my domains but dnsstuff.com tells me I haven't setup an spf record - what is wrong?

Restart the DNS service and check the same again.

or

/scripts/restartsrv_named

Done that several times but still get the same report, even been left overnight before re-checking and restatrting DNS in WHM again but it still says no spf record for the domain {scratches head!}

Try removing the quotation marks in the entry or try "v=spf1 a mx ip4:IP ?all"

Look at the DNS server log file and see what's going on after restarting the DNS server.

It looks to me like you setup a SPF record for the host mydomainorg.uk.mydomain.org.uk.

Lightwave is right. It seems you have forgotten to put a dot at the end of mydomainorg.uk.

If it is correct

login as root

run
named-checkzone <domainame> /var/named/<domainname>.db

check for errors.

Thank you gentlemen, well spotted, I did indeed forget to put the dot at the end and having put it there all is now well (Hope that means thanks)
