Hi!
I've seen them come and go..but this one is truly bizarre.

This morning on our local news:

Man rushed to intensive care after the robot he was having problems with and working on..put him in a industrial oven.

I thought there would be more details just now...but I was wrong.

Nothing. Nada.

I'll share followup when there is followup.

I normally don't post stuff like this..but I felt this needed filed in the "Oh! You think *YOU* are having a bad day/week/year?" department.

Odd...not a peep. I'll bet it a article would appear in one of the larger city papers..like Johnson City Press...or Bristol Herald.

I have been in places like that as a temp...you really have to keep your wits about you...or you could get messed up real bad. The only robotics I was ever around was at the Parmalot Dairy...and it was quite elaborate...to say the least.

Multiple safeguards are in place, though...if a human ever got near any of the big stuff...it kicks a safety...and everything shuts down..I mean everything. The problem is money. Corners can be cut...and...sadly..lives can be lost as a result.
>>Homebrew robotic systems (seen them..ha..I have two) have few such safeguards. Mine don't need any...just me here.

I hope this guy recovers from this...I'm sure there will be some followup..somewhere.
