Ping times ...
I have an account with Servage and I also have an account with HostGator.
Now between 80-90% of my visitors are from the US.
The ping times on Servage from the US are average about 115 ms.
The ping times on HostGator from US are average about 33 ms.
Do these response times make a noticable difference to visitors? eg: would the average joe visitor from the US notice a difference of 82 ms ???
As I'm in the UK I get +/- 1 or 2 equal ping response times (being more/less in the middle of both).
Is http://encoderx.eu/ the site? If so, I can't tell the difference (from NY).
Thanks, yes it is

I'm torn between Servage and HG and the final deciding factor (for me) would be the ping response times.
Not a chance. If they are just browsing to the site there is no way they could tell. That's less than 1/10 of a second.

That site loads fast for me, from Missouri(central u.s.).
Where is servage?

Given the response times ...etc I might as well stay with Servage
