i got a problem


i rent a server,and i also have a printer on my office, how can i connect my printer with my server,and remote print?
Does somebody can help me,,,,,thank you!

I'm mildly curious as to why you'd like to do that, but it wouldn't be hard assuming your printer supported IPP or LPR printing...

What kind of printer do you have?

I'm also pretty curious - as far as I know there's nothing on your server that you can't access and print locally.

Nevertheless, try this and let me know how you go.

We need more background information, i.e. the OS (Linux, Windows, etc.) and how this printer attaches to the network (i.e. direct-attach to your Windows workstation locally, or via a printserver, etc.). You have options in all of the above scenarios.

If you have a windows server, it can be done using terminal services printing, dont know if you can with linux.
