Hello I run a web hosting company and I was wanting to get some feedback on what people looking for hosting want? Like I know people want support, good price, good uptime. But what else like what kind of hosting plans do you want not like linux or windows but like how much space transfer etc for what price?
I want enough space and transfer to store a small-medium website so around 500 MB space and 10-20 Gb of transfer. After that I want the host to just keep the server up and leave me alone.
Ah, what a difficult question. Certainly if you're looking at the competitive angles alone, you want to see what other hosting companies are doing and at least stay in the ballpark. All things being equal, you want to offer better uptime, better support, all the stuff that people have a right to receive but don't always get.

I do not represent the hosting industry!
Why don't you look around and see what other web host plans include and their prices to give you an idea. Then see what you can do to improve upon them so that people will be more likely to go with your service.
I don't think you need to do exactly what other hosts are doing.
Your prices, plans, packages etc, depend on the market you are planning on targeting. Do you have a business plan? do you know who will be your average user? Once you have an idea of who you will be targeting, how you will be targeting them etc. then you can come up with plans and packages that will satisfy the necesities of your customers.
For example: if you are planning on targeting business around your area that have none or little idea about internet, you can charge more for your service but keep it very personalized, offer only the space they need, basically they won't know how much is 1GB or 1MB simply give them what they need.
Those business normally don't have problems to pay a little more just because you are helping them get on internet.
