    * My New Car

These are some pictures of my new 2002 Cougar V6 Sport C2, everything is color-keyed to the outside color of the car. What do you think?

Very nice. I had a 98 cougar a few years ago. I totaled that thing . My friend has one of them with the new body style and it looks nothing like that. Maybe his is a 2001. But that one right there looks like a mustang. Very nice car Pat. Persoanlly I'm a SUV guy now . Got to love chevy trucks. Take a lickin and keep tickin.

    Patrick,

Great looking car. I could do without the blue part on the seats though.

That's a first, most people love the interior, maybe it looks better in person, not tainted by the glare of the pounding Houston sun.

Nice car Patrick. Very sharp looking. I have to agree with AndyC though. I'm not too keen on the blue on the seats.

The other option for interior was black leather.. I dunno if any of you have ever been in Houston.. but black leather would be suicide..

All grey cover for the seats will be better, IMHO.

We truck around in a carriage over here - nice and large with enough space for everyone, especially our slightly *larger* relatives

    Patrick,

I know what you mean about the black leather. I have black leather in my car and I live in Tampa. It is murder.

    Well,
I have light leather, here in Los Angeles.

I can't see how black leather could be any worse :\

It probably isnt ! Could've ordered tan leather with it too if I had asked, but I'm not sure tan leather would look good at all in this car.

    Cool

    Nice car!

Yeah, leather is a killer in the sun. I got in my car today, after I had parked it in full sun for a few hours. Ouch!

I dont think they should put leather in cars. Our Maxima has grey leather and whenever it gets anything over 25 C - ouch. It'll be 35 on monday and I think that'll be hell.

I cant imagine living in the southern states with it hehe

My friend bought a camaro and had the leather seats taken out at the dealership and replaced with those from a cloth base model (I wouldnt go that far )

    Nice car btw

Beautiful car, Patrick! ...but take those .jpg images to http://myimager.com and reduce them, OK?

I had a car with black leather seats and swore I'd never buy a car with leather seats again. Then, I let a salesman talk me into a car that had everything I wanted but it also had light tan leather seats. Unfortunately, if you want a loaded car these days, it usually comes with leather seats. I believe the tan is even hotter than the black. Oh, yeah, I'm in the South in Tennessee, and I'm get tired of burning my back and buns on the seats. I'm looking at seat covers OR I may just jerk out the seats, power seats and all, and put in cloth seats from the salvage yard.

BTW, there's alot more wrong with leather seats than just the heat.

As God is my witness, I'll never buy a car with leather seats again.
