hey, i was just wondering where your servers were located because i did a test download from your site and was avg ~60-80kb/s on the download when i usually average around 170+

will the vps speed be faster?

I guess it depends on where you're located and the connections between you can the servers. The servers are located in Chicago/Midwest.

I just got back from the datacenter new host-nodes were added and I have completed sending out all of the queued orders which exhaused the rapid deploy queue. I am going to stage some more now. To shorten the turn around time on incoming orders.

Test files are located on the product pages - When you click the sign-up page you will see a link that can be used to test the speed.

Please be advised the rapid deploy pool have been exhaused and are currently being populated with more VMs. These will be ready for deployment by 01/23/2007. Queued orders will be setup based on the order in which they came in.

It may not be entirely possible, as he has already mentioned theres a waiting list for other distros.

  26. #26
Is there currently a delay on the setup or is more room currently available? Also, still a backlog on Debian? Thanks!

There is still a backlog for new orders. I will get them out as soon as I can. There are NO DEBIAN SLOTS AVAILABLE PERIOD. They are all sold out. If you put in an order, I have it, I will get them setup and the welcome letters distributed as soon as I have a chance to catch up on some pending tasks.

    leeware, I'm abit curious though.

Since all the distros are available for free as images, why can't you install multiple distros on the same server for different VPSes?

The forum is not an appropriate place to make support request. You should continue to use the admin address for requests. Posting requests here won't make me respond any faster. I've reinstalled your machine several times already and I am currently doing it again per your request.

Please be advised - I have received several orders which are in the queue for setup. I need to stage more servers before I can get the welcome letters out for those.

Please be advised the system is currently @ capacity. I will be turning up new servers at the datacenter tomorrow. If you are planning to sign-up instead of creating a subscription. Just send your email address to admin [at] leeware [dot] com and I will put you on a list for the FC6 package of your choice. When the new servers are online I will send a sign-up link to each person who requested a VM. once you subscribe. Your welcome information will be send immediately as I will be holding slots for those who have already created subscriptions but have been refunded the subscription fee.

I tried to signup and got an instant refund by paypal.

Hopefully they will be taking orders tonight.

Please be advised. Tomorrow 01/29/2007 a batch of new servers will be going online. For those of you who signed up and had your funds returned. I sent an announcement regarding available slots + reservations for the new servers. Queued orders have priority over new orders. I have an first come first serve policy on open slot announcements.

Please be advised I did visit the datacenter yesterday to install new servers. I worked until really late lastnight to clear the backlog of orders and populate the rapid deployment queue with servers. There are several machine in the rapid deploy queue. If you have subscribed and have not received a welcome letter you should start receiving them soon as I just started a new day.

Also, I've received a couple of reports of people waiting days for the welcome letters. Please note that If I cannot complete the setup of your VM within 24 hours I generally return your money, put you on a list and contact you when I can deliver the box.

If you have waited more than 24 hours and have not received a welcome letter then that generally means the following.

    1. Your server was setup
    2. Your welcome letter was delivered

The most common cause of people NOT receiving the welcome emails is that they are sent to the email address attached to the paypal account used to purchase the servers. This cuts down on access information being sent to the bad guys who have hijacked someone elses paypal account.
