ecatel has their an own
network "linkup" and datacenter "Iqarus" in amsterdam
but their support is very wack

just search for linkup and you will find more negative than positive comments

try to ask for an test server for like a month
test their support and you will experience yourself

not that they are super bad but there are many companies with better support

Ecatel can be good for certain situation.

I would not recommend them however for any critical services. Their staff is unprofessional/rude, one their staff even blatantly bashes a competitor to advertise his own company.

They also don't have a great history, the prove is the change of company name (Linkup, Colinks ... and now Ecatel).

They do offer low prices (too low IMO).

Someone know a dedicated server around €300 also 30/40/50 mbit burstable on 100 mbit?

For that budget you can get alot better indeed

I have colocation services at Ecatel and I really don't have anything to complain about, best service you can get, I'm now customer for about 2 years now, many years to come!

Isn't Ecatel a remake of another company that was a remake of another company?

I might be mistaken about this Ecatel but there as a company that changed their name a few times because they got a bad reputation. I am not sure this is the same one but it sounded something like Ecatel.
