business as usual i think???
if your basing your enquiry soley on the news section then don't be alarmed, as the product is only $30 and no monthly fees they have a VERY small production team, so feature updates come out once in a blue moon

well, as far as i know, since the last 3 or so years, they have been about to release silverstar. So, expect it to be out sometime later than sooner. maybe in the coming decade.
If you are posting because you are looking for a billing solution, I recommend awbs. most people here will recommend modernbill, but i think awbs is a much better choice.

Well, I own 2 whoiscart licenses already. I was deciding whether to wait for silverstar or buy WHMCS.

In the past i owned 4 WhoisCart licenses and they gave us the guarantee that Silverstar would be released within the "next 6 months" that was 1.5 years ago or something like that.
We looked for another billing solution and eventually desided to build one for our own specified on the things we need and want.

I have 3... But AFAIK I think I remember reading that the update to SilverStar will only be for people who are using Whoiscart currently. I could be wrong about this. If someone had a license and shelved it and are not using it I am not so sure they will get an upgrade.

I had also hoped it would be here by now. But my Whosicart is working and doing it's job for now, so I have not been caught up in any wondering and waiting games. If it had not been doing the job for me, I would have done what you did and went another direction. When I bought my Whoiscart(s) in '04 I do not remember promises of when, just that "SilverStar" was under works. I can remember talk about Auracle being the main project, then SilverStar second.
The latest is basically the talk has been SilverStar is ready and some legalese issues over trademarks etc.. is the hold up. But if my current cart is working and works for the next year and SilverStar is not out, I will still be happy.
I have looked at WHMCS since it was mentioned in this thread. It looks like it would have almost everything I would want. But I am not one for trying to fix a wheel that is not broken

Could / would anyone care to share their WhoisCart lic with me ( I know this is a tough question to ask), but I need a very specific WHOIS system, which WhoisCart might offer.
Clientexec doesn't
AWBS, doesn't
MB 4.4 does - but MB 5 doesn't anymore, so I need something new
Our domain registrar make use of email templates for domain registrations, which i can still do with MB 4, but it has so many flaws that I want to upgrade to MB 5, but can't for the sake of our business.
So, all I ask, is either if someone has already done this, if you could tell me how you got it to work.
Alternatively, if you have a licence that you don't use, if I could use if (eve if it's on your domain in a test subfolder), to see if I could figure out how to make my own email template domain registration script

Ramy,
Please try not to spread rumors about.

Not dead, not expired - simply a hiccup at the registry for all of 40 minutes. You were really quick to post here! I'm sorry if our tenacity disappoints you - we'll be around for quite awhile, as we've been for 6 years or so now

I fail to see how hope would be applicable in a situation like this. You've not seen the screenshots of the core alpha builds in our forums? Those definitely aren't fictitious...
Puzzled!

It cant be dead, I just purchase it and found it to be very user friendly. That was only two or three weeks ago.

I had purchased Whois.Cart() months ago. But I never used it. I tryed demo. I could not see more than 2009(year) on the expiry date line when I try to add a domain manually. What will do the users of Whois.Cart() for after 2009?
