For all you Uk'ians out there! Well hi there i have been approached by another company representing the BBC, they want to advertise a job ad on our website. Now we have the main index webpage and we have the forum home page.
We run a community forum, and we get thousands of hits.. now considering they are advertising for the the BBC i have emailed them detailing how big their banner size will be and how long they want to advertise for.. im not sure how much to charge them i am still awaiting their reply.. the following links show the traffic statistics to our website up till this hour, remember today is only the 19th of december.
So can somebody advice me? we run a community forum and we have representatives from the BBC wanting to advertise on our website... so roughly how much can i charge them... dont forget they are the BBC, British Broadcasting Channel massive and one of the first TV channels to be in the UK.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.. i just want a jist of the price... Thanks in advance!
A slick way of getting an idea what their budget is to ask something along the lines of
'If you dont mind me asking your budget, I can prepare a marketing proposal that will fit within your limitations'
yes ive sent them all the relevant information along with the screenshots of the statistics... ive told them to take into consideration what ive told them about the site and the statistics and they can decide how much they want to pay.
