    Web Developers needed for this question.

    Ok professional web developers. im new to buying images, please help out.

    When buying stock photos for a site.

    What kind of copyright and license am i looking for?

    What pixelxpixel and dpi should i aim for (suitable for websites)?

    What are some good cheap stockphoto sites that are good?

    U might want to have a look at gettyimages.com , corbis.com
    Both r good. U'll find all the info u need on licensing on their sites.

    Gettyimages is good, filter out the RM (Rights-Managed) ones though, because they cost heaps. Royalty-Free images from there are about $19-$60.

    www.istockphoto.com is a free site you may be interested in, if you're not too fussy.

    As stupid as this is going to sound, there are ton of free images on a subsite of Microsoft's. The downside is that they're a bit of a pain to transfer to PhotoShop or any other document:
