    Google Phone?

    That didn't take long...

    First the Picture:

    Found this article at engadget.com:

"Color us skeptics on this one, but we've met a tipster claiming to have the scoop on Google Switch. This version of the mythical Googlephone is said to be the result of a collaboration with Samsung -- not Alpha Networks or HTC. Of course, it's a button-less touchscreen device as is the rage these days only this time with GPS built-in for pinpoint navigation around Google Maps.

What's pictured in that all too familiar blur (Photoshopped Much?) is the phone's contact program said to be an extended version of Gtalk combining Gmail, text and instant messaging. According to our tipster, the device doesn't have any on-board storage. That's right, all your applications are served up over the network with new apps "attached" to your account via a web interface. So what is it... the real deal or engorged fanboy fantasy? Check the gallery below for biggie pics suitable for dissection."engadget.com

I wonder who they will choose as a phone carrier? Knowing Google, they will want to make something unique and proprietary. But only time will tell, I like everyone else who learn about this deal will follow it closely on this one. Maybe even meet another tipster at a convention.

Knowing Google, they'll probably give them out for free as a beta for two years, but you can only get one if you know someone who has one

As along as they don't use Cingular! Still can't believe that's the network you have to use if you buy the iPhone (or whatever they heck Apple is going to call it if they don't settle that lawsuit).

I have very good luck with Cingular when I had my phone through them. Actually, I think it was safe to say that it was the best carrier I have had, and that includes Nextel.

Hmm google enters to the competition. Well i think apple would win leaving Microsoft and google behind. They are more popular in this area.

I'm definatly drooling over the iPhone right now. I would get the Google phone too if they would show my ads once in awhile.
