I read a little about SPF and my main doubt it... implementing SPF is as simple as adding "v=spf1 ip4:10.10.10.10 a mx -all" to the DNS?
what disadvantage it may have? I read something about breaking forwards

Disadvantage.. I can't think of any. This should work fine for all mails with mailserver entry as you have defined, but when it comes to secondary and tertiary mail servers, you may have a chance of tagging them out.
If this is the only one in use, then go ahead.
It is reliability that counts...
