Somebody's domain resolves to my ip.

I have recently found the strange domain referrer in my logs. I typed it in and it took me to my server. So that domain resolves to my dedicated IP for some reason. The whois showed that the company that owes that domain does the domain auctions and stuff.

Is there any reason for someone to do that?

    Thank you.

This is my server. One of my domains has a dedicated IP so it can use SSL.
That alien domain has a dns A record that points to my dedicated ip.

It has never been there before. Just showed up this month.
Somebody did that on purpose. So I don't know what kind of purpose is that.

I also get a bunch of traffic.

It's probably a typo error of the ip address. Strange they haven't noticed it until now.
