    Button href problem

    I have some buttons on my web page that have the following code for example:

    <td align="center" bgcolor="#EEEEEE"><span class="main"><a href="someurl/">
    <input name="Submit" type="submit" class="field" id="pro_more_info" value="Continue">
    This button is located inside its own cell in a table by the way...hence the 'td' tags etc.

    Now when I access my site in Firefox, I can click the button and it redirects to the URL in the 'href=' field, however, when I access it in IE, it does...nothing! (suprisingly enough).

    The page itself is XHTML and W3 valid, but is there something I'm doing wrong or something I can do to make the buttons redirect to a URL when clicked in IE too? Or am I going to have to resort to using standard text links...I would prefer to use buttons because I think they look better...

    You can put it inside a form:
    <form action="someurl/" method="get">
    <input name="Submit" type="submit" class="field" id="pro_more_info" value="Continue"/ >
    or use javascript
    <input name="Submit" type="button" class="field" id="pro_more_info" value="Continue" onClick="window.location='someurl/'" />
