    Windows VPS

    Hello,

    I need windows VPS,

    requirements:

    128 MB memory
    200 MB diskspace
    remote access
    Money-back-guarantuee

I need this to install an automated trading application, it normally won't use more then 50 MB memory but sometimes it goes up to 100MB...Never more so 128MB is good.
Money-back guarantuee is needed because I need to be sure the application works properly..

    No VPSland..

Price should be equal or less then $40 p/month when purchasing for a year.

    Thank you in advance

I have found the following so far:

    SolarVPS
    Warp-factor
    Godaddy

128MB of RAM and Windows don't really mix - I would suggest *at least* 384MB of RAM for the base OS + your app (Windows, even in a VPS, is pretty resource heavy).

128MB is low, but 384 is high really for him.
I think 128MB for OS is good plus 128MB for your software, so 256MB would be good for you.

Most of the trading applications I have seen can run on a 256MB VPS, InterBank FX, Metatrader, etc

The problem comes in when multiple instances of the trading software are started. This can cause both high RAM usage and excessive CPU usage. If you stick with one instance, I recommend you start with 256MB of RAM and then upgrade as needed. With Virtuozzo you get the Power Panel so you can monitor your RAM usage and if things start nearing that 90% mark, you can easily upgrade your RAM with most providers.

    Good luck!

    Any bandwidth requirements as well?

I've had before with 128 MB it was more then enough, I don't have to install all kinds of programs that sometimes are included. I only have those requirements, more is always good. So no bandwith requirements...

And I don't have a button anymore to edit my original post so I post it like this:
Godaddy doesn't offer money-back-guarantuee so godaddy doesn't belong to the list..

    Suggestions anyone??

PowerVPS is too expensive (if purchasing for a year $44/month)

I've decided to go with EasyCGI,

they're a bit expensive but I'll be sure I have enough RAM (384 MB) and they have good support.
If this doesn't turn out to be very good then I'll go with SolarVPS because I find them also very good.

    Hi,

I would recommend you going with FDCServers. Their 100mbps unmetered windows VPS starts at US$89/month from resellers and offers plesk, 40GB HD, and 512MB RAM.
