I have a cpanel server with 2GB of ram. For the last two weeks , we are experiencing problems with apache
in the server. Apache goes down frequently in the server and we had to manually
restart the service everytime. chkservd do nothing for a restart. I had
recompiled apache using easyapache script .
Strangely i can see some entries like the following in apache error logs
host: isc_socket_create: not enough free resources
I compiled it one more time but the errors still exist.
If that is from a particular user then you will wish to check out the code, seems like a programming error. But I am afraid, unless it is a memory consuming process, you can't expect this to delay your processes.
If you could also watch out the access logs for few minutes at high loads, then that can lead to some clue.
