Zone.Net Customer Service Terrible.
I signed up for hosting with them, to find that i only get my reply the next day, after I've submitted my ticket.
This wasn't good enough for me as the downtime from moving webhosts was enough.
So i contact them to upsize the Maximum upload size so i can upload my database * I receive a ticket the next day * and they say that they can do that for me.
So i upload my database to their server and i tell them that I've uploaded the database.
They then reply and say that they will handle it.
The *next day * ( 3rd day with them ) i still don't get a response from them, so i contact their Live Support and they say that they've done it, when in fact they have Not.
Turns out that database was a corrupted old one anyway, but what stings me is that they say that they have restored my database, when they actually haven't.
I then tell them via live chat that I've reuploaded the working database.
They then take over 15 minutes to restore it, and says " It looks like the database went through *
I check the database manager in my control panel, and it * has NOT gone through *
By this time I'm fustrated. I tell them to increase the max file upload size, so i can restore the database myself through the database manager.
The operator says he'll pass this onto another Tech Guy.
Later that night still no response, so i email them to increase my Maximum Upload Size yet again, hoping that they will just fulfill my small request.
Few minutes after i've sent my ticket, I was just sick of this tiring cycle and submitted what i thought would be my *last* ticket, and asked for a full refund.
As usual, nearly 24 hours later i get a response *Finally* having the tech guy increasing my max upload size. Why? I think maybe cause i asked for a refund.
The sales replied asking why i wanted a refund.
I reply saying that their response and service wasn't up to my standards.
That was nearly 8 days ago since i asked for a refund.
Up to now i have submitted another 4 tickets asking for a refund, but with no reply.
I urge all of you to not go with Zone.Net.

While it is possible they created your database without adding it to your control panel, their lack of respone is terrible. I hope you are making plans to move ASAP, as that just isn't acceptable.
I already made the database, but i couldn't restore a backup that i had, due to the small cap on the File Size.
It should have taken them about two minutes to do a mysql database_name < dump.txt

I'll be keeping this thread updated.
I'm still waiting for my refund from zone.net, but no reply yet...
It has been 2 days passed.
