Anyone interested in taking over a budget server I've ordered on 8 jan 2007 from bruzen.net? There's nothing wrong with it really.
The reason is simple: we were planning on using FreeBSD to deploy a project, but unfortunately we faced some unexpected obstacles. And a re-install of 35usd can't be considered to be an option on top of a budget server.
OS: FreeBSD 6.1-release (upgraded from 6.0)
IP's: 4 usable ip's, 1 for the physical box and 3 extra's (for aliases)
Location: USA (where exactly? no idea)
bandwidth: cogent (consult bruzen's info pages)
=Mods (can be removed on request):
I currently have the following installed:
php 5.1.4 (cgi with suPHP 0.5.2)
used bandwidth till now: max 1gb (sorry, don't know how much exactly. It's a rough guess)
This has nothing to do with sharing a server, rather an ownership transfer. As a matter of fact, next month(before 8feb 2007) you are committed to pay the original rental fee of 39.99usd to bruzen networks if you plan to keep the server.
Also this a great opportunity for others to try-out the network with minimal risks.
