Anyone know of a good code editor, simple, and similar to notepad, that highlights HTML/XHTML/PHP... etc?
I live by http://emeditor.com .
Loads up just as fast as NotePad, has highlighting and all that jazz, and loaded with features.. then there are plugins on top of that.
Perfect, thank you!
You can use editplus alsi.It is simple like notepad and it is very good
I have tried many, and Scite is the best for both windows and linux (Except for VI). scintilla.org/SciTE.html

Cream is a great customization of vim (available for both Windows and Linux).

Textpad (http://www.textpad.com) is quite good, it has syntax highlighting and some other useful features. Plus there are lots of plugins for it.
I really like EditPlus; small app, loads fast, and does syntax highlighting for a ton of extensions.
