PDF Passwords, can they be removed?

I have a couple of PDF files that I had them passworded.

Now after 2 years, I lost the original DOC files and am looking into getting those files opened, with no luck.

Any ideas on how to do it?

I tried many so called "pdf password removers" but none of them seem to decrypt the passwords.

    Peace,

Do you know what version of PDF the file is? Or what version of Adobe Acrobat was used? I don't think the newer version can be decrypted, just brute-forced open. Also what software did you try when opening the file?
If you have to operate your company behind the scenes or under a fake name, maybe it's time to leave the industry and start something fresh.

I don't recall the version it was.

Currently I am using Adobe Reader 6.0.
