Slim Lightscribe enabled Notebook DVD drive?

Anyone know if one exists? I've spent a week of on and off searching and nothing turns up, not even from the notebooks manufacturers HP..

I mean I need to buy one seperatley and install it , I bought an HP computer without getting the lightscribe option because I could not afford it, nor see a use for it. Now that we have a use for it at work, I can't find a 'sold seperatley' drive that I can install to the laptop and replace the old drive with.

I guess you could call HP. Say your notbook is out of warrenty, what would the cost be for a lightscrive drive. Or go buy one at bestbuy.

Yea, I would suggest buying an external lightscribe. We've had them for $59 canadian, enclosures are $20. Bingo

Right. If TigerDirect has them for seventy-five bucks, there's prolly a local store you can get that deal as well.
