how faster is dual opteron 250 vs 246?

    one server comes dual opteron 250 + 2G ram + 80 7200rpm disk
the other one comes dual opteron 246 + 2G ram + 74G 10krpm Raptor disk

    pick up which one? thanks.

What will you be using it for?

I would be tempted by the faster drive!

Go with the server with the "10krpm Raptor disk".

    Go Raptors

The server with the Raptor disk is the way to go, seems like the other choice might not even be SATA II
