    Iframe and google

    Here is my situation.

I have about 4 pages that are displayed in a IFRAME situtation.

Google is picking up the single files that are pointed in the I frame.

So when you click the link you get that single file, with no heading etc.

I want to make something that will force the user when click on that single link to show the entire page.

    So qucik example
    Mainpage.php points to <iframe blah.php>

When the user clicks on blah on its own, i want the whole mainpage to work.

    Any code php?
Or even just making google omit those pages from listing.

    Any advice is appriciated.

    Thanks

This is a classic example of why you shouldn't use frames. There is no magic resolution, other than to remove the frames.

Or even just making google omit those pages from listing.
To stop Google crawling a specifc page, use a robots.txt file: http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/exclusion.html

instead of using an iframe, use a <div>

you can give it height and width, and give it the overflow:auto; property, so it has scrollbars and looks just like an iframe

    just a thought

Could you give me a quick example with only scrolling up <>down. And not side to side.

    Thanks

    Cheers!
