How to Change IP Couior Sends its Mail Out Under?
My host gave refuge to a ROKSO spammer and got the C-block listed in SpamHaus and cant get it removed.
So they mapped a new, clean IP to my server and I need to change the IP that my MTA is sending out under. Since I didnt set this up and the guy who did is not avaliable to me ATM, I cant seem to figure this out.
Any help would be much appreciated.
What MTA are you using? Courier is a pop/imap daemon, and doesn't actually send out the email. This is usually done by exim, sendmail, or postfix.
If you don't know, type this and send back output
telnet localhost 25
alpha# telnet localhost 25
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 alpha.xxx.com ESMTP
Hope that means more to you than it does to me. LOL
