A Small Orange Software is looking for a few Tech Support people to help our 7500+ webhosting customers. You'll be responsible for helping customers on a variety of issues via our support ticket system and ensuring the proper upkeep of our servers. You'll be coming in contact with customers every day, so we're looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and able to keep a level head when under pressure. We use Linux extensively in a semi-standard LAMP setup, so strong experience with Apache, MySQL, and other tools are a must.
We're looking for technicians to fill a 4 day work week with one 8 hour shift on the weekend, and one 8 hour and two 12 hour shifts during the week. There is no overnight work needed, although the 12 hour shifts will go to 2am. For the first two weeks, you will work normal 9-5 hours to ensure you're here with someone so you can learn the ropes. Some telecommuting will be OK, but you will need to be located within the Atlanta area and come in at least 2 days out of the week.
