You should just build your own load balancer and use open source software on it. This will allow you a lot more flexibility and scalability than buying a branded hardware solution. What if Baracuda stops supporting that product, or goes out of business?
Well, if you're talking about the $10-30K range, you should be looking at Zeus. It's software-based, so you can keep the software but upgrade your hardware over time to make it faster, rather than having to buy a new box if you want to upgrade. It's also got the easiest management interface I've seen and has tons of features (TrafficScript is awesome!). They also sell a cheaper $9k-ish version that does just the basics and is also very good for the job.
