Well I've been doing some research on mp3 players the past few days, trying to decide what to go with. Eventually I went with flash players because they are smaller and theres no moving parts, so its more fitted for running, the gym, etc. There are alot of good choices like an ipod, iriver, sandisk, creative, etc...
Personally I found the iRiver Clix to be my choice because of the big screen and all the other features.
So what about you guys, what would you pick if you were buying a new MP3 player with a budget around $250?
We have a Creative Zen M, a Zune, and Sony Playstation Portable. I know the PSP will play Flash and MP3 and I am pretyt sure the others will as well. I have not had the chance to play too much with the Zune but my roommate likes it.
I like the PSP and the fact that it will download RSS feeds (he said that the Zune does not, but I find that hard to beleive with the new trademark MS is trying to get). Or maybe it just doesn't - they did not want to step on Apple's toes.
Is size an isse? The PSP relies on external memory for the most part so that might be a good thing for you. Or it might be the deal breaker.
iRiver Clix is great. Because I found it difficult to find in my country, I will buy the tiny Creative Zen V.
Excellent quality, cheap, and in several Gb sizes. Check the review at Cnet:
iRiver is great i have been using their players for several years and still every one works, i hand them down to family members and they are still going strong. their design aspects are an aquired taste tho.
