    htmlgoodies is the place where I first started with html, css, etc, and still go back to on occasion (typically when I need a color code). Great place to start out.

    I know what html is that site was know help i need a site where i can learn html. not a site that tells me what html is.

    It does have tutorials on it.. you have to click on html help at the top....

    I have not looked at htmlgoodies in forever but not too long ago I would have told you to avoid it like the plague. However, the site is updated so I don't know about the content.

    The best place I point people to nowadays is W3Schools.com. Please keep in mind that they have nothing to do with the W3C.

    HTML tutorial might be a good start. When you find something that is confusing - ask specific questions about whatever it is and that is a good way to learn
