    Transferring a .ca

    Hey All

How do you transfer a .ca from 1 enom reseller account to another?
I've tried pushing the name, that didnt' work
I've tried initiating a transfer, but that got rejected the next day, with a msg saying that enom has to do this (??).
I'm not too sure what they meant, but as a last resort, i think I'm going to have to initiate the transfer from my godaddy account. But, of course, if anyone knows how to get this transfer going, I would really appreciate the help.

    Thanks!

Ownership transfer for .CA domains requires acknowledgement at CIRA (the registry). I guess the message you got from eNom means they need to do it manually. I would go with a REAL Canadian CIRA-certified registrar which KNOWS how to do this and has an automatic interface, instead of GoDaddy.

.CA's names can be pushed from one eNom account to another, but you must ask them to do so in a support ticket.

This is correct. You will need to submit a support ticket into eNom's "help" system and ask them to push the domain from one enom account to another.

They must do it manually -- I'm not sure of the technical/political reasons behind this restriction.
