thats easy, switch to cPanel lol
Erm seriously Plesk has few issues including a PHP one. it rewrites etc..
Not too mention that ClientExec (from servint) dont work with Plesk 8. different API.
Switch if its in your early stages of your hosting. if not then good luck

There are many things you can do to secure a server. Check out the pages below for some basic guides:
eth0: mod_security
eth0: mod_evasive
eth0: APF Firewall - I believe BFD (brute force detection) is included with the latest version of APF.
Anyways, that's just a start and some of the most basic (but helpful) configurations.

cPanel isn't as secure or as stable as Plesk. What's the issue with PHP? Do you even know?
Plesk 8.1 actually has a fixed API that works with ClientExec.
Perhaps you should research before making ignorant comments.

Hi, thanks for all the replies
I have two Plesk VPS' one has Clientexec working fine
I have done APF, BFD and Mod_Security (I guess these are the main things)
CPanel seems ok, but no as easy like Plesk and always seems like a lot to fix
Regards

You should also ensure that all your applications are kept up-to-date. Many providers will do this for you upon request if it's a Virtuozzo VPS, it may even be possible to do it via your provider's control panel.
We support the CE developer responsible for Plesk integration, and I believe since Plesk 8.1 it's working fine.

Why would I buy from ServInt?
I purchase directly from the two companies. The Plesk plugin in ClientExec does function properly with Plesk 8.1. Perhaps you need to upgrade.

I believe all resellers receive free updates to ClientExec (we do), so if you don't have the most recent version ask support and they should be able to provide you with it.
