var sidebar_align = 'right';
var content_container_margin = parseInt('290px');
var sidebar_width = parseInt('270px');
what are some common ways to prevent screen scraping of my searh results or at least make it a PITA? paginating the search results helps. i've seen some sites use captcha but that would burden legitimate users too much.
Not really, you could have multiple site layouts with only small changes that could stop the script from parsing the data correctly. (maybe hidden random strings?)
Or... you could check your access_log and look for the IP address of the machine scraping the content and block the host via IPTABLES.
