    * Fraud alert

    Everyone beware of the following:

    David Craig signing up for web hosting using fraudulant details. Basic fraud protection can catch it, but just be aware of this. This person is using the domain name summerplans.com to sign up. Just a warning.

    Yeah its horrible, If paypal wasnt so widely used I wouldnt use it. Usually Ill only deal with the person using their paypal email, no other, and STILL get chargebacks, no matter how much proof you send you always get a template email saying the regular crap.
    I think it wouldnt be too far fetched to say that about 80% of those "unauthorized transfers" are not and just some person trying to get a freebie. I think some people even jump webhosts like that, you hardly ever get a chargeback on the first month, usually about after 3 then it gets all charged back at once, and I say they go somewhere else and do the same exact thing.

    Thanks much for that! Will be on the lookout. Someone using that name signed up with us about a year ago, and it created quite a stir (long story). Sorry to see he's at it again.

    Can you guys explain a bit more about these Paypal issues. I've heard a lot of nightmare stories like this, but have used Paypal with no problem.

    What were the user claims? Stolen account or something? If so, how can it accumulate to $500?

    Yep, but most of the time its the same guy trying different fake paypal accounts. Easy to catch for the most part, there's always that one once in a while that slips through!
