    Post stats using whm/cpanel

Hi, it's been days now since my stats program doesn't show any results (awstats),

    WHM SETTINGS

    * Statistics Software Configuration
There are green lights on awstats and analog
when clicked the button 'show status per domain' everything seems fine green lights on analog & awstats even per accounts saids: "Stats Last Processed at: Thu Dec 28 06:31:18 2006"

Also 'generated statistics every 24 hours'

    * under tweak settings i have:

    -Stats programs-
I have selected Analog & Awstats

    -Stats & logs-
I only have checked: *Delete each domain's access logs after stats run
and *Exim Stats Daemon (required for smtp bandwidth logging; must also be modified in the service manager as well)

But when i enter via CPANEL into every account and click on "web/ftp stats" then awstats it shows "10 Dec 2006 - 01:37" the correct date is bold on the stats per day info.

Also under CPANEL --> statistic software configuration there are 3 red X

Thanks for any help if you need more info tell me what.

Have you tried /scripts/runweblogs username (just to test)
Also confirm logs are being written to /usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain

I had a recent issue, I found that the logs files were so big awstats was failing to parse them properly so I set it to parse them every 4 hrs and remove the file once it was done.

    That worked

i ran the command with one user and cpanel awstats now show stats for yesterday ans ome part of today... BUT cpanel Statistic Log Configuration still shows 3 red X so i guess they are not working like they should,

also i have like 100 accounts on server i dont want to run that command 100 times for every account, any idea??

    thanks.

    sorry sorry

I just noticed the problem is with one domain only, the one with a lot of hits (our number 1 site) so i guess is the file size thing,

    any permanent solution?

do i need to delete something? thanks.

Have teh stats run more often and have the log files removed once the stats are run, this will keep the files small when they are parsed.
