    * oh brother, another google post!

i cant help it. the more i use them, the more things i am finding. not to say im not going to use them, but im trying to figure this out!

so, im redesigning one of my websites and i found something MOST interesting....

when i load the site using the www. first, (same exact page) i get completely irrelevent ads (adsense)

when i load the site without the www, i get very targetted ads.

    what the heck?

can someone else try this and verify it for me so i dont think im nuts!

You should use a 301 and redirect the non www. If you do not have this done you are just asking for trouble with dupe content or supplemental issues.

I get the same ads with a domain of mine that I tried, both with and without the www

PM your link to me and I'll see what I see this end.

I second this. www.example.com and example.com should be treated as two different sites and Google correctly does so. They probably did not recently spider one of those sites so you get irrelevant ads there. Simply create redirect and it will be benefit you in more ways then only getting relevant ads, your PR will not be spread thin and you will not be punished by Google for duplicate content.
